Job Overview

The role of Director of Staff Wellbeing requires exceptional leadership to develop and implement a holistic strategy for supporting our workforce.

This position involves leading the development and implementation of staff wellbeing initiatives across the organisation, with a focus on organisational health and sustainability.

  • Develop strategic plans to promote staff wellbeing across all areas of the organisation.
  • Provide high-level advice to governance committees and chair the Staff Wellbeing Committee, fostering a culture of care and resilience.
  • Built relationships with local, national and international organisations driving innovation in staff wellbeing.

Key qualifications include:

  • Accomplished medical leader with specialist registration and a strong commitment to advancing staff wellbeing.
  • Proven ability to lead complex change initiatives, implement innovative systems and integrate wellbeing programs within organisational missions.
  • High-level communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills; adept at managing priorities, analysing options and achieving outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of contemporary healthcare, staff wellbeing challenges, evidence-based interventions and relevant legislation.
