About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Solutions Analyst to join our team at Westpac. As a Senior Business Solutions Analyst, you will play a critical role in the delivery of infrastructure for business and end-user projects, performing and leading business analysis tasks primarily within the boundaries of a project and/or program.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead Business Analysis: Work with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information, and systems.
  • Define and Manage Requirements: Define and manage requirements through the delivery lifecycle to meet business needs.
  • Provide Recommendations: Provide and direct recommendations for process re-design and improvements, enabling changes to processes, policy, and/or information that support Westpac to achieve targeted business outcomes and deliver business value.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in business requirements, system analysis, business process improvement, and implementing system changes.
  • 5+ years of business process improvement/re-engineering, data analysis, system functional/non-functional analysis experience, and business case preparation experience.
  • 3+ years of Financial industry experience.
  • Experience with trader communication platforms such as IPC Unigy or NTR solutions is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IPC or NICE Voice System environments.
  • Experience in infrastructure projects with a strong understanding of technology and business systems strategically and operationally.
  • Experience in Business domain/systems - Power BI, Power Apps/Automate, Holocentric (value stream mapping).
  • CCBA (or equivalent) certification at a minimum.
  • Proven ability to lead requirements and business solution workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to independently drive delivery by planning and managing business requirements.
Desirable Skills
  • Understanding of multinational telecommunications systems (IPC, Cloud 9, British Telecom, Avaya, etc).
  • Understanding of Call Recording platforms/technology.
  • Dealing Room/Financial Markets exposure.
