Project Finance Controller

Project Finance Manager Opportunity

You will play a key role as a finance business partner to the Operation Manager and Project Managers. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all financial and commercial matters, driving the project's performance. You will be assigned to multiple projects.

• You will be involved in covering all financial, commercial, and tax aspects such as revenue recognition methods, billing plans, payment securities, GST, and other indirect taxes, consortium administration, etc., support project invoices, and liquidation of outstanding, manage currency risk, tax issues, bonds, guarantees, coordinate for financial accounting and reporting (including project site accounting).

• You will drive and seek optimization of project cash flow, revenues, and gross margin contribution together with Project Managers, involved in preparation of various Financial MIS, and circulation to team (upstream towards management and downstream towards PM/APM/Site Team and various functions) to make the team aware of the financial performance and desired actions to maintain healthy project financials.

• You will establish project governance processes, participate in opportunity/risk identification, ensure that all required mitigation actions are timely implemented, drive, coordinate, and prepare monthly project reviews jointly with the Project Manager. You will review and have joint responsibility with the Project Manager for all financial aspects of the project including estimate at completion and related cost-to-complete, forecasting Revenues and Cash in, Cash out.

• You will drive implementation of actions to reach the forecast, drive problem-solving activity to ease bottlenecks and Risks, opportunities assessment, and ensure alignment with other functions including Project Controls, planning/scheduling. Provide early warning and updates on the same.

• You will take responsibility for timely Review and Updating Project review Templates/materials for onward review with LOU/HBL/BL, updating PROMIS report for the projects on a monthly basis, promote commercial awareness in the project team, and provides commercial input to the project execution plan (such as T&Cs in supply management, claims, back-to-back conditions). Drive claim management, back-charges, insurance cases, and monitor the proper follow-up together with the Contract Manager/Project Manager upstream (towards customer), as well as downstream (towards suppliers).

• You will follow up on internal project audit reports and ensure timely implementation of all required actions related to projects under responsibility. Responsible for adherence to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter, business-specific directives, and instructions. Drive, setup, and closure of all taxation matters pending against projects along with Project Manager and responsible to close all taxation documentation of projects.

• You will ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Candidate Profile:

• You hold a university degree or CPA in accounting/finance.

• More than 3 years of relevant Project business controlling experience.

• Expert knowledge of IFRS, USGAAP standard accounting.

• Leadership skill to manage different cultures and cross-function leads.

• Possesses excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving skills, and capable of working effectively under own initiative.
