Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide support to clients in their homes. As a Specialised Carer, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.

Your role will involve providing transportation to appointments, assisting with shopping, and administering medication as required. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide tailored support to enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with showering and dressing.
  • Help around the home with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
  • Provide transportation to appointments and assist with shopping.
  • Administer medication as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

You may have previous experience in aged or community care, or be looking to start your career in this field. A valid driver's licence and access to an insured, reliable car are also essential requirements.

Ideally, you will hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, although we can provide training and support to help you develop the necessary skills.
