Agronomist Specialist

The Agronomist role is a critical position at Simfresh, responsible for enhancing growing techniques and productivity on our farms in Queensland. This position will be based out of our Bundaberg office, with frequent visits to all Queensland farms and potentially other Simfresh sites.

• Improve nursery and growing techniques to maximize yields and quality of produce
• Understand and manage bugs and diseases in the Glasshouse
• Optimize Glasshouse operations, including boilers, CO2 management, Coco Fibre, and growing techniques
• Work with the Priva system to enhance growing conditions

To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant Bachelor qualification and at least 2 years of relevant employment experience. Hydroponic experience is essential, and experience with the Priva System is highly beneficial.

This position offers a salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, with a company mobile phone factored into the salary. It is a full-time position with all leave/other entitlements included.
