Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Housekeeping Support Specialist to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our residents' rooms and common areas. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.

The primary responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Executing daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, and transporting linens, towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts to designated storage areas, maintaining each area tidy.
  • Maintaining cleanliness standards by cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and emptying waste receptacles.
  • Implementing disinfection protocols for equipment and surfaces using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture and equipment.
  • Establishing effective communication with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and colleagues.
  • Supporting resident dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment.
