Sample Collector

We are seeking a highly motivated Sample Collector to join our team at SGS in Mayfield West. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for conducting sampling of trains, ships, and stock-piles, operating mechanical sampling systems, and providing routine sampling preparation instructions.

The ideal candidate will have good organizational and communication skills, basic mathematical skills, flexibility for a rotational roster, and safety-oriented ethics.

• Ensure operations are performed in accordance with instructions
• Carry out routine clerical functions in respect to time sheets
• Conduct sampling of trains, ships, and stock-piles
• Operate mechanical sampling systems
• Provide routine sampling preparation instructions
• Conduct physical tests and carry out general equipment maintenance

• Full PPE provided
