We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our NSW team as a Mature Age (21 and over) Apprentice Fitter based in Tomago. As an Apprentice Fitter, you will work closely with qualified and experienced tradespeople, Supervisors, and other Apprentices to gain valuable skills and knowledge to secure your trade qualification (Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade).
Key Responsibilities- Learn the safe use of tools and equipment, including hand and power tools and plant machinery (lathes, milling machines, slotter, horizontal borer, and drills)
- Examine and understand detailed drawings and specifications to determine the requirements for the task
- Work in a safe and productive manner, valuing teamwork and having a positive attitude
- Follow direction with excellent attention to detail and listen to customer and company requirements
- Commit to building a long-term career with potential to move into Leadership roles such as a Site Supervisor or Operations Manager
- Motivation to succeed and a willingness to learn
