Job Summary

WT Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our cost management team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on cost estimation, planning, and management to our clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients, architects, and main contractors to ensure accurate cost estimates and effective project delivery.
  • Identify and facilitate new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue for WT Partnership.
  • Develop and implement cost management strategies to optimize project outcomes and minimize risks.
  • Conduct cost checking and value engineering to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time.
  • Prepare and present tender evaluations and contract negotiations to secure new business opportunities.
  • Manage cash flow and procurement processes to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide accurate and timely cost reporting to stakeholders, including clients and project managers.
  • Evaluate variations and prepare valuations to ensure fair and transparent project outcomes.
  • Prepare and present claims, negotiations, and settlements to resolve project disputes.
  • Develop and implement benchmarking processes to improve the consistency, accuracy, and efficiency of cost models and plans.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction.
  • Experience in cost estimating and planning software, including Cost X.
