Job Description

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Rehabilitation Consultant, supporting individuals to return to work after sustaining an injury or illness. This opportunity will be servicing the Melbourne Metro region on a casual basis.

About the Role

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to assist people in their journey towards wellness and independence. Your daily tasks will include assessing individuals' Personal, Domestic, and Community ADLs, identifying recommendations for services, support, and/or assistive equipment, and educating clients and injured workers on safe and appropriate use.

You will work collaboratively with our team to provide holistic support, ensuring seamless service delivery and outstanding outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' abilities and needs
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to enhance independence and participation in daily activities
  • Educate clients and injured workers on safe and effective use of assistive equipment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Full Professional Registration with AHPRA
  • Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation, highly regarded
  • Fabulous communication skills, including ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
  • Compassion and empathy in all interactions
  • Well-developed time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • A current Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
