This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and caring organisation that prioritises its clients and their families. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is eager to take on a paediatric caseload in the Box Hill/Ringwood area. The role involves working in both our clinic and clients' homes, schools, or childcare centres. As part of your responsibilities, you will conduct assessments and provide interventions to your clients, while also liaising with families, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders.

The Role:

  • Conduct assessments and provide interventions, ensuring effective communication with families, teachers, and other relevant parties.
  • Interventions will be carried out in clinic and community settings (homes, schools, childcare centres etc).
  • The focus will be on evidence-based practice, with interventions offered on a one-on-one or group basis.
  • You will provide support and consultation to other members of the multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, accompanied by AHPRA registration.
  • A genuine desire to work in a paediatric Occupational Therapy setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients and families and make therapy enjoyable and engaging.
  • A current driver's license and car.
  • Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS worker screening clearance, and Children's First Aid training (or willingness to obtain these).
