**Upholstering Opportunities Ahead**

We are seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join our team in QLD. This role offers a unique chance to develop new skills and showcase your expertise in furniture manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upcycle old furniture frames, including sofas, chairs, and custom pieces.
  • Cut, sew, stretch, and staple upholstery materials to meet design specifications.
  • Perform quality checks and make adjustments to ensure products meet required standards.
  • Interpret and follow technical drawings and work orders.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
  • Ensure all work meets internal quality and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in upholstery for furniture manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of upholstery tools, techniques, and materials.
  • Skilled in foam cutting, fabric layout, sewing(non essential), and fitting.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanship.
  • Ability to lift and handle large furniture pieces safely.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
