Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Gold Coast Private Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing orthopaedic and other surgical procedures.
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Ensure patient and staff safety through effective risk management and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members to deliver patient care.
- Deliver education and support to patients and their families to promote health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a surgical ward.
- Experience in a post-surgical ward.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
