We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as an Afternoon Shift Supervisor at our Laverton branch. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing and logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of production staff, including employee performance and safety standards
- Coordinate operational activities, including production planning and quality control
- Lead and manage the shift to ensure production and output KPIs are met
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement initiatives
- Manage costs to ensure delivery is met in the most cost-effective manner
- Experience in production manufacturing and planning
- Solid understanding of safety management systems and building a safety culture
- Hazard identification and implementation of best-practice safety solutions
- Proven experience supervising or managing a large team in a manufacturing or relevant industry
- High-level problem-solving, conflict resolution, and people management skills
- Experience with implementation of lean systems and process improvement
- Ability to use computer systems, including Microsoft suite
