We are a global organisation that provides world-leading facilities management and engineering solutions, ensuring safe, successful, and sustainable outcomes for our partners on time and budget.
This position offers a hands-on, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive mechanical engineer the opportunity to be part of our growing facilities management operations and engineering team. You will be responsible for inspecting, designing, and budgeting building services for all partner organisations, ensuring projects are delivered within deadlines, project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice to internal and external stakeholders in relation to design, operation, maintenance, upgrade, replacement, and/or new installation of mechanical building services.

- Design and develop concept, detailed design, and/or tender documentation for upgrading, replacing, or installing mechanical building services.
- Perform comprehensive audits of partner sites nationwide, documenting existing site conditions, covering all building services (mechanical, electrical, controls, building, fire, hydraulics, etc.), and providing recommendations for upgrades or replacements where necessary, with costings.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on implementing and delivering projects.
- 5+ years' experience in engineering design, auditing, and delivery of related projects and activities.
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Sound analytical thinking and engineering judgment, with the ability to think creatively in designing solutions.
- Industry recognised accreditation (e.g., CPEng, RBP-ME), desirable but not essential.
- Experience in client service and report writing.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to liaise with all levels within the organisation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- A team-first mindset, with a willingness to advance your own and others' growth.
- Full Australian drivers licence, as some travel may be required.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Competitive salary with career progression opportunities.
- Hybrid working model, with a balance of office and home work.
- Free car parking when working in the office.
- Supportive and encouraging team environment.
- The opportunity to be part of a leading facilities management company.
If you would like to join our team and contribute to the success of our organisation, we look forward to hearing from you.
Please submit your application, including your cover letter and updated resume. We will contact short-listed candidates by phone.
