After School Care Coordinator

Children at Mount Sinai College in Maroubra are looking for a dedicated individual to join their team as an After School Care Coordinator, providing a safe and engaging learning environment for kids in After School Care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan, and deliver daily quality activities that cater to children's diverse needs, ensuring fun, safety, and educational value.
  • Maintain a strong focus on child protection and mandatory reporting protocols.
  • Supervise and support children during their time in care.
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options that meet dietary requirements.
  • Create a positive and inclusive environment that fosters meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the community.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certificate 4, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Children's Services or equivalent qualification recognized in this field.
  • A current Employee Working with Children's Check (willingness to obtain).
  • HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training certification.
  • CHCPRT001 - Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk Child Protection training.
