About the Role

This Payroll Manager position will see you leading by example within process improvement, implementation, system configuration & upgrades, BAU and managing direct reports.

Duties:

  • Perform end to end payroll in a timely & efficient manner
  • Lead, nurture and mentor members of the team
  • Process leave calculations, including long service, maternity and parental leave
  • Regularly conduct data audits and identify areas of improvement
  • Understand and perform Super and Tax calculations
  • Undertake terminations & redundancies
  • Interpret complex EBA's and Awards correctly
  • Communicate with various stakeholders within the organisation both nationally & internally

Skills and Experience

  • Experience processing full function payroll
  • Prior knowledge using ADP is desirable
  • Proven experience within payroll projects/implementation is desirable
  • Outstanding communication skills between colleagues and third parties
  • Experience within a medium to high volume processing environment is desirable
  • Attention to detail whilst performing Payroll
  • Strong understanding of complex EBA's and Awards
  • Ability to think independently and solve payroll queries

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of payroll processes and procedures, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
