Role Overview

The Clinical Education Specialist at Royal Freemasons Ltd plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and training programs to staff. This leadership position is responsible for promoting skill and capability with a focus on consumer-centred care, ensuring adherence to legislative and organisational requirements.

About the Role
  • This key leadership position will develop and review education resources to support key initiatives aligning with the new Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Deliver education and clinical guidance for all relevant staff to enable the development of evidence-based knowledge and performance skills.
  • Support accreditation preparedness by collaborating with the Quality Team to ensure all documentation and processes meet compliance requirements.
  • Ensure programs and learning resources are current, regularly reviewed and maintained in partnership with subject matter experts.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (TAE40110) or willing to complete same.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation including the new Aged Care Act 2025 and Governing for Reform in Aged Care.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills, and demonstrated experience in working with management and staff on educational and development requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing, monitoring and evaluating learning and development needs and requirements of the clinical workforce.
