We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for managing all engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintaining the highest standards of safety and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of engineers and maintenance staff to ensure the efficient operation of all hotel facilities and equipment.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of hotel systems and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operation and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and manage budgets for engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal resource allocation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 4 years of experience in engineering and maintenance or related field; technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, and plumbing.
- Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in building and construction, engineering, or related field; 2 years of experience in engineering and maintenance or related field; technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, and plumbing.
