About the Role:

UGL is seeking an experienced Reporting Analyst to support the Project Controls Manager in the timely management of project reportable data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve existing reports and generate new insightful reports.
  • Build and maintain reporting solutions using an agile approach, ensuring stakeholders are informed throughout the development cycle.
  • Acquire and analyze large quantities of data from multiple project systems to extract crucial elements.
  • Identify trends and patterns in complex data sets to inform improvement opportunities in the reporting suite.
  • Proactively identify data anomalies and inform relevant parties to determine necessary fixes.
  • Seek out efficient reporting solutions and incorporate automation where possible.
  • Document processes associated with recurring reports.

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience working in an analyst role.
  • Tertiary qualification in computer science, commerce, mathematics, or data science is desirable.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capability and experience using dashboard software such as Power BI.
  • Strong communication skills, including negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to establish effective working relationships.
  • High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
