Consumer Communications Opportunity

We're looking for a skilled professional to lead our external communications efforts. As Consumer Communications Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that drive engagement with Australian consumers. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key media, agencies, and stakeholders to deliver integrated campaigns that meet strategic goals.

This role requires a high degree of creativity, strategic thinking, and project management skills. You will oversee campaign budgets, timelines, and performance metrics to ensure successful delivery. A strong understanding of the Australian media landscape, content creation, and the ability to pitch and secure media coverage are essential. Experience in financial services or regulation is highly regarded.

The ideal candidate will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, media, public relations, or a related discipline, with 6–8 years' experience in communications, media, or PR (including digital and social media). You have demonstrated success leading and executing external communication strategies from concept to delivery – ideally for a consumer brand, government department, or financial services organisation.

As a creative and strategic communicator, you possess exceptional written skills and a proven ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with consumers. You thrive under pressure while maintaining quality and accuracy, and your collaborative approach allows you to work effectively across teams. You are passionate about building financial literacy and delivering communications that make a meaningful impact for Australian consumers and investors.
