The physiotherapy role involves assessing and treating consumers with various movement, pain, and mobility impairments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing consumers' movement, pain, gait, quality of life, musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, development, and neurological impairments that affect function and mobility.
  • Designing and facilitating interventions to improve or maintain mobility and function based on assessment findings and consumer goals.
  • Providing direct interventions, education, service, and equipment provision to assist consumers in gaining or regaining function.
