About the Role:
The Motor Mechanic position at Skilled Jobs Australia is a key role in our team, responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and repair for our clients' vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, transmission fluid checks, and tire pressure adjustments.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues with vehicle engines and machinery.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify potential problems and recommend preventative maintenance.
- Replace defective or worn parts, and reassemble engines and components as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve company targets and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced automotive environment.
- Qualifications as a qualified mechanic (AQF III or equivalent).
- At least 3 years of full-time working experience in the automotive industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to comply with all OHS policies and procedures.
- High level of motivation and a willingness to work collaboratively to achieve company targets.
Remuneration:
An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant, based on their skills and experience. This will include a basic salary of between $70,000 - $90,000 p.a, plus superannuation.
