Apprentice Spray Painter Opportunity

We have an exciting opening for a skilled tradesperson to join our collision repair workshop. As an industry-leading business, we pride ourselves on supporting apprentices and growing our tradespeople.

You will continue developing your skills, learn advanced repair techniques, and receive the best training to build a long-term career in automotive spray painting.

You will work alongside experienced tradespeople, enhancing your hands-on experience within our workshop while progressing toward your trade qualification.

You will be supported by our team and continue building your knowledge of collision repair, refining your skills in prepping, mixing, and refinishing vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Match vehicle colors
  • Prep vehicles as per job requirements following paint supplier's process
  • Prime vehicles as per job requirements following paint supplier's process
  • Paint vehicles as per job requirements following paint supplier's process
  • Buff and denib vehicles as per job requirements
  • Upon request, carry out minor/small repairs as per job requirements
Requirements:
  • Currently a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice spray painter
  • Genuine interest in the automotive industry
  • Good attitude and willing to learn
  • Reliable and good attention to detail
