A competitive salary between $74,000 - $80,000 will be offered to the successful candidates. This is a full-time role working 7am - 3:30pm, 5 days a week, with occasional overtime. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding mild steel and aluminum, reading and interpreting technical drawings, using various machinery such as guillotines, press brakes, bandsaws, and plate rollers, and performing MIG and TIG welding.

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in heavy/structural steel fabricating with exposure to AS/NZS 1554.1. You must also hold a trade certification such as a Cert 3 in Engineering - Fabrication Trade, Heavy Welding, or another relevant certification. Key skills include competency in oxy acetylene welding and Mig welding, ability to read and interpret workshop and engineering drawings, high attention to detail, ability to meet tight time frames and schedules, knowledge of OHS standards and hazard identification, and ability to work individually and as part of a team.
