Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Pool Instructor to teach effective swimming and water safety techniques to students of all ages.

\

Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Teach swimming lessons to students\
  • Lead groups of students and provide feedback on their progress\
  • Engage with patrons to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience\
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress\
  • Collaborate with other instructors to develop and implement new lesson plans\
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner\
  • Promote water safety and awareness throughout the community\
  • Conduct first aid and CPR training as required\
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management\

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • \
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate\
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends\
  • Excellent verbal communication skills\
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team\
  • National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People check\
  • Possession of current Pool Lifeguard Certificate and Swim Teacher Certificate\
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills\
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly\
  • Familiarity with aquatic programs and services\
  • Possession of a valid driver's license\
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite\
