Senior Research Scientist Position

Key Responsibilities- To enhance research outcomes, contribute independently or as part of a dynamic team in the discipline.
- Conduct thorough research and support the creation of scholarly outputs recognized by peers through publications and presentations.
- Undertake specific research projects under the guidance of a senior researcher.
- Effectively disseminate research results through various channels.
- Engage in comprehensive research activities such as surveys, literature reviews, data collection, and analysis relevant to the discipline.
- Participate in and/or present at prominent conferences and workshops.
- Possess a PhD in chemistry, physics, materials science, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
- Demonstrate expertise in density functional theory modelling of materials.
- Commitment to staying updated with discipline knowledge and best practices.
- Ability to undertake high-quality, independent academic research.
- A proven track record of publications and conference presentations.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across disciplines and with diverse stakeholders, including students.
