About the Role
Our Wireless and Special Coverage Solutions team within our Telecommunications division have a newly created position for a Subcontractor Coordinator to assist with new scopes of work. The successful applicant will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of Venita's Wireless construction projects by managing the administrative aspects of subcontractor onboarding, quotation inquiries, compliance, and payment initiation.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and clients. To succeed in this role, you will have a strong understanding of compliance frameworks, processes, and systems related to subcontractor management.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate the onboarding process for subcontractors, including collecting required documentation such as insurance certificates, licenses, and qualifications
• Verify subcontractor compliance with organisational and client-specific requirements, ensuring alignment with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards
• Work closely with internal compliance frameworks, processes, and systems to ensure that subcontractors meet all necessary criteria for undertaking construction works on job sites
• Maintain a thorough understanding of organisational compliance frameworks (Risk Management, Quality Management, Safety and Environment management), processes, and systems related to subcontractor management
• Provide regular reporting and evidence of compliance to internal stakeholders and clients as required

About You
Ideally, you will hold relevant qualifications to the position with experience working as a Project Administrator within the Telecommunications / Construction industry. You will also possess:

  • Proven experience in subcontractor coordination, compliance management, or a similar role within the construction or telco industry.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, processes, and systems related to subcontractor management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems for document management and compliance tracking
