About the Role
We are seeking a Conveyor Maintenance Supervisor to join our Operations Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing Belt Splicing Teams to deliver optimal performance and champion business improvement initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong desire to shape culture, lead a team, and improve business processes. Your background in a similar type of position or environment will be well-suited to this opportunity. You will also possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on safety and a commitment to upholding high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a positive and productive working relationship and culture between team members and other departments.
- Ensure Health, Safety, Environment, and Community (HSEC) standards are applied by departmental personnel.
- Identify opportunities to improve the performance of people, processes, and systems.
- Improve fleet performance through quality maintenance practices.
- Build cross-functional relationships with other areas to support the delivery of maintenance.
- Have a strong understanding of SAP.
- Coach, review, and develop non-trades and trades personnel to optimize their skills.
- A trade qualification is highly desirable.
