Senior Project Manager

Halcyon Knights is seeking two experienced Senior Project Managers to join a high-performing state government department in Adelaide CBD.
The successful candidates will lead and manage high-risk, complex business and technology projects that align with the department's strategic objectives and business-as-usual projects. Projects should be delivered within scope, approved funding, and agreed timelines.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage high-risk, complex business and technology projects.
- Ensure project delivery aligns with the department's strategic objectives.
- Contribute to project planning, execution, and delivery with a focus on stakeholder engagement and alignment with business objectives.
- Communicate project progress and deliverables.
- Build relationships and maintain open networks across the Housing Trust and Digital and Business Services.
- Work on the department's initiatives such as addressing hoarding and squalor issues, improving debt management processes, and leading collaborative multi-agency protection service projects.
- Assess and enhance regional response teams.
- Lead the implementation and enhancement of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products.
- Oversee the deployment, integration, and enhancement of in-house developed systems.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in effective project management support.
- Knowledge and understanding of project management processes and frameworks.
- Experience using Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools.
- Experience in records management.
- Proficiency in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage complex and competing priorities, and develop effective resolutions, both individually and through collaboration.
- Qualifications in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
- National Police Clearance.
