About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our site reliability team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and performance of our cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS Cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using modern software engineering practices
  • Participate in key initiatives to improve the capability, standards, and risk profile of our platform
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in developing public Web Applications and APIs
  • Excellent debugging skills; able to debug complex technical issues involving multiple system components
  • Expert knowledge of micro services architecture and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with modern software engineering practices such as Trunk development, Unit Testing, and Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow
