About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Calypso Platform Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in delivering software solutions that support a reliable and efficient derivatives clearing market infrastructure.

Job Description
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership for multiple projects, BAU across Calypso product system underpinning our OTC derivatives clearing business.
  • Team Management: Coach and provide line management responsibilities for a small team of engineers.
  • Process Governance: Ensure all development, release processes adhere to existing clients' standards within defined process controls.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Calypso Application: Proficient in Calypso application across all modules, including in-depth knowledge of its architecture, database, and APIs.
  • Experience in Delivering Major Calypso Programs/Projects: Experience in delivering major Calypso programs/projects in lead BA capacity, work in a complex, agile environment within capital markets area.
  • Requirements Management: Experienced in managing requirements comes from across stakeholders, documenting, participating in prioritization meetings.
  • Cloud Engineering: A good understanding of cloud engineering principles underpinned by design and experience with one or more cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, and VMware.
  • Containerization: Knowledge of containerization concepts and implementation considerations like Kubernetes.
  • Design Governance: Experience with Design Governance, taking responsibility for the end-to-end software design process across a large program of work, collaborating with Architecture, Engineering, Developers, and Suppliers.
  • People Management Skills: People management skills including interviewing, recruitment, performance management, managing expectation, handling escalation, identifying training requirements.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
