Leisure and Health Trainee

Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Leisure and Health Trainee to join their team in a residential care facility located in Encounter Bay.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge by combining on-the-job training with the completion of Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (CHC43415).
As a Leisure and Lifestyle Trainee, you will work under supervision to enhance the quality of life of residents by offering a comprehensive range of individual and group activities to promote social independence and interaction.
You will assist in conducting assessments on existing activities and implementing new activities to meet the residents' needs and desires.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for providing recreational activities within an Aged Care environment, be self-motivated, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additionally, you will be required to be fully vaccinated and willing to undertake formal training in CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health with the study being in Adelaide.
As a valued member of the team, you will have access to ongoing mentoring and support throughout your apprenticeship to ensure your success.
To be eligible to apply for this role, you must be legally permitted to work in Australia.
