Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Registrar to join our team in General Medicine. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical terms and be willing to step up to a Registrar role.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, commencing in February 2025. The role is open to Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) trainees who have passed the written and clinical exams or equivalent. Trainees from other pathways, such as intensive care or ACCRM, are also eligible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients in General Medicine
  • Work collaboratively with the medical team to deliver comprehensive health services
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development of medical knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA medical registration without conditions, undertakings, or reprimands
  • Acceptance into and continuation in relevant College training program if applicable
  • Successful completion of relevant postgraduate years
  • Previous experience as a Medical Registrar or PGY3+ and willingness to step up to a Registrar role
