Electronic Repair Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electronic Repair Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about electronics and has a strong desire to learn and grow in their career.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing faults and performing repairs on electrical devices used within warehouse and distribution centre environments. This will include handheld terminals/computers, vehicle mounted computers, bar code scanners, RF terminals and headsets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Learn from experienced technicians how to diagnose faults and perform repairs to electrical devices.
  2. Completing repairs, testing and configuration of the devices within the required time frame.
  3. Completing accurate documentation of the required repairs.
  4. Complying with repair centre procedures and following safe work practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Higher School Certificate (or equivalent)
  • A passion for electronics and mobile devices/equipment and computer devices repair is ideal - training will be provided
  • Experience in repair of electronics/computer devices is an advantage
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work towards tight deadlines
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Eager and willing to learn
