Job Title: Senior Spatial GIS System Architect.

At EBR, we are seeking a highly skilled Spatial GIS System Architect to oversee the development and implementation of our spatial GIS system. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing and architecting large-scale GIS systems, as well as a strong understanding of spatial databases, APIs, and web applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a scalable and reliable spatial GIS system architecture.
  • Develop and maintain a team of GIS developers and engineers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions.
  • Implement and maintain spatial databases, APIs, and web applications.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the GIS system.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge of spatial databases, including PostGIS and Oracle Spatial.
  • Experience with GIS software, including QGIS and ArcGIS.
  • Strong understanding of web development principles and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
