We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Professional to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food to our residents.

This is a part-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and friendly environment. If you have a passion for cooking and a desire to make a positive difference in people's lives, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

We are looking for someone with relevant Cooking and Food Handling certifications and experience in all facets of food preparation, including menu planning, meal preparation, and presentation. You will be responsible for assisting with planning and preparing menus and meals that meet the daily living needs, nutrition, and hydration requirements of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with planning and preparing menus and meals for residents
  • Performing basic food preparation and presentation tasks
  • Cleaning of food preparation and consumption areas, cooking equipment, and utensils
  • Serving and delivery of meals to residents
  • Assisting the Chef with ordering, checking, and rotating of all food supplies
  • Delegating tasks and responsibilities to Food Service Assistants
