The Treatment Operator plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our facility, working closely with other teams to achieve our goals. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of technical expertise, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and operating water treatment processes, including disinfection, pH correction, and filtration
  • Conducting regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of equipment
  • Collecting and analyzing water samples to monitor water quality
  • Working collaboratively with other teams to achieve organizational objectives

This is a permanent, full-time position working 38 hours per week over a 9-day fortnight. Remuneration will be based on grade 7 of the salary system, which includes a base salary, superannuation, rostered on-call allowance, award allowances, and planned and unplanned overtime.
