About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and creative Senior Learning and Capability Business Partner to join our People and Culture team at Australia Pacific Airports Corporation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and managers to understand business drivers, goals, and challenges, providing sound strategic advice and clear solutions related to learning and capability development.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders and SMEs to identify, prioritize, develop, and operationalize relevant learning and OD initiatives.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including senior leaders, managers, team members, and all P&C team members.
  • Develop and implement Learning Plans aligned with APAC's strategic objectives, relevant frameworks, and the APAC culture.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and analyses to identify capability gaps and development opportunities.
  • Design, develop, implement, and facilitate effective multi-modal learning programs, including leadership development, soft skills/behavior workshops, team building, and corporate induction.
  • Support and build team effectiveness through consultation and facilitation of leadership and team-based initiatives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make continuous improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance capability and organizational performance, including change management, team development, and process improvement.
  • Support the Head of Learning & Capability in the implementation of talent management strategies, including succession planning, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Ensure all L&OD initiatives are aligned with APAC's purpose, values, and behavior framework.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion and belonging through various L&OD interventions via the DEIB Action Plan.
  • Engage, advise, coach, and partner with leaders and managers to build engagement, lift capability, and generate positive outcomes.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to leaders and team members during the facilitation of key learning & development initiatives and programs.
  • Develop and implement an innovative Coaching & Feedback Framework to build coaching capability across the organization in support of a learning culture.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective delivery of Learning & Capability initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress, manage resources, and report on outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Source and utilize data and analytics to measure the impact of learning and development programs and organizational development initiatives.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports and presentations that deliver valued insights and recommendations to support continued growth and learning.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in Learning and Development, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • A proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing successful multi-modal learning and capability programs in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of Adult Learning and OD principles and practices.
  • Exceptional project and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Advanced communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • A genuine adeptness to think strategically and translate business challenges into effective Learning and OD solutions, with a balanced willingness to roll up the sleeves to get things done.
  • Business acumen with a consultative business partnering approach.
  • Exposure to (or experience with) Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging initiatives will be highly regarded.
  • Post-graduate qualifications in Human Resources, OD, Learning, Psychology, Coaching, or a related field preferred.
