About the Role

As a Sales Consultant - Custom Furnishings Expert at Spotlight Group, you will take customer service to the next level by providing expert advice and service for furnishings, both in-store and in-home, utilizing our extensive range of fabrics and window products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and service for furnishings, both in-store and in-home, utilizing our extensive range of fabrics and window products.
  • Match products and services to client needs during in-store and in-home visits.
  • Measure and quote for clients' furnishing requirements.
  • Manage the end-to-end process from order to installation.
  • Provide high-level client service and follow-up in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the dedicated store furnishings team to ensure all administrative duties are complete.
About You

We are seeking a sales professional with a background in sales, ideally in in-home or outside sales, specialty or custom product/services, or retail environments within Home Decor/Furnishings.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a drive for sales and results.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
  • Strong customer focus and team orientation, with the ability to build leads and develop new clients.
  • Ability to work with admin programs, tablet, outlook at a high level.
Requirements
  • Valid and full driver's license.
  • Availability to work full-time, including one weekend day and one late night within the fortnight.
  • Proficiency with PC/Tablet and Microsoft Windows-based programs.
  • Ability to meet monthly sales and KPI targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Applicants must have full working rights within Australia.
