Traffic Management Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of complex traffic management systems, technologies, applications, specifications, and analysis to drive effective leadership.
- Provide strategic guidance, advice, and support on Intelligent Transport Systems, traffic engineering, and signal design suitability and options.
- Develop and deliver professional and technical submissions, briefs relating to all aspects of road network signalised and un-signalised intersections.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in traffic engineering, including analytical modelling, ITS, and traffic management systems and standards. They must also possess strong analytical and technical skills, as well as well-developed interpersonal and communications skills.
Mandatory Qualifications and Conditions- A four-year, Washington Accord accredited, Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent which is assessed/accepted by Engineers Australia against Washington Accord benchmarks.
- Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
- A current 'C' class driver's licence.
