JOB TITLE: Boiler Plant Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Boiler Plant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of boiler systems.

Your primary duties will include monitoring and operating boiler systems, performing routine maintenance and repairs, responding promptly to emergency situations, maintaining accurate records of equipment performance and maintenance activities, starting and shutting down boilers, conducting safety and maintenance inspections, tracking water levels and gauges, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of steam and hot water boilers, combustion systems, and associated components. You will also have experience in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals, as well as proficiency in operating control systems and monitoring boiler performance.

As a Boiler Plant Supervisor, you will work independently and as part of a dynamic team to ensure smooth operations and mission success. You will be required to maintain a high level of attention to detail and technical knowledge to ensure safety and efficiency.

This role is located in Alice Springs and requires 100% onsite presence.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US or Australian citizen.
  • Must possess an active US TS/SCI w/ Counterintelligence Polygraph or Australian PV Clearance.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Boiler Operator or in a similar role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications or vocational training may be required).
  • Completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in boiler operation or related fields.
  • Valid Boiler Operator license or certification.
  • Critical thinking and collaboration skills.
