Project Manager Role

We are seeking an organized and motivated individual to manage projects at MPA. The successful candidate will have experience in commercial fitout and refurbishment, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

The project manager will assist in the preparation of project commencement management documents, prepare and maintain project-related documentation, facilitate and process commercial payments, and prepare project status reports for project managers and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Construction Management or equivalent, with 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of project commencement management documents such as dilapidation reports, procurement schedules, or scope statements.
  • Preparing, maintaining, and issuing head contract and subcontractor and supply documents, including supplier agreements, contract warranty and guarantee, contract annexures and trade letting.
  • Facilitating and processing commercial payments including deposit payments and creditor claims and retention invoices.
  • Preparing and compiling handover documentation and assisting with defects.
  • Monitoring progress of program initiatives and updating program documentation.
  • Preparing project status reports for project managers and stakeholders, regularly monitoring and updating program.
  • Scheduling and attending site, project, and stakeholder meetings, minute-taking, and facilitating communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
