Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist - Perinatal Mental Health Expert

This role is ideal for a dedicated and compassionate nurse who wishes to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women experiencing perinatal mental health challenges.

The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) facilitates evidence-based practice in our multidisciplinary service that provides specialist mental health support to women with moderate to severe mental health concerns during pregnancy and the first year of their baby's life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide case management and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for women from their second trimester until their baby reaches 12 months.
• Contribute to a cohesive, multidisciplinary team while working autonomously.
• Drive best practices in perinatal mental health through education, consultation, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• At least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, with at least 3 years in the specialty field, plus approved postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field (or equivalent experience as deemed appropriate).
• Australian C-Class driver’s license (including P1 or P2).
