Job Title: Radiocommunications Technician
">The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure state-wide.
">- Maintenance of Telecommunications Infrastructure State-Wide:">
Maintain and repair telecommunications infrastructure, including radio base stations, microwave units, and fibre optic cables.
">Installation and Commissioning:">Install and commission new telecommunications equipment, including radio base stations and microwave units.
">Troubleshooting and Repair:">Identify and troubleshoot issues with telecommunications equipment and perform repairs as necessary.
">Safety Procedures:">Follow all safety procedures and protocols when working at heights, with electrical equipment, and in confined spaces.
">Quality Assurance:">Ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
">Teamwork and Communication:">Work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues, managers, and clients.
">- Required Skills and Qualifications:">
A tertiary qualification in Telecommunications or Engineering Science is highly desirable. Equivalent experience as a telecommunications technician can also be considered.
">- Desirable Skills:">
Experience in installation, commissioning, and testing of Nokia and/or Ericsson equipment; current Working at Heights / Tower Rescue Ticket; First Aid and CPR certification; Construction White Card; Full Manual Driver's Licence; Radhaz RF EME Awareness.
