Job Title: Cyber Infrastructure Specialist

  • Develop and execute plans for the design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure to meet organizational needs.\
  • Monitor and analyze network performance to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to minimize downtime.\
  • Configure and secure network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, and VLANs to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.\
  • Implement security measures including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, VPNs, segmentation, and access control policies to protect against cyber threats.\
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, backups, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.\
  • Document network configurations, topologies, standards, and change history to facilitate knowledge sharing and compliance.\
  • Provide training and support to IT staff on networking best practices and tools to enhance their skills and productivity.\
  • Collaborate with vendors, third-party providers, and other IT teams to deliver infrastructure projects that meet organizational objectives.\

Requirements:

  • \
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in network configuration and administration, with a strong focus on security and compliance.\
  • Proficiency in working with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure, as well as network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, and Nagios.\
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, and VLAN tagging.\
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.\
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.\
