Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Commissioning Specialist to join our team in Chipping Norton. As a Commissioning and Technical Specialist, you will work on premium brands and exciting new technologies with OEM training and the ability to build both your skills and career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and complete various jobs on Energy Solutions products, including directing sub-contractors.
  • Diagnose, repair, commission, service, and install our Energy Solutions systems with large Diesel and Gas Generators, Rotary UPS, and Battery Storage solutions, including their control and auxiliary systems.
  • Work closely with customers, consultants, partners, and internal teams to ensure we deliver to the highest standard of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) activities, complete commissioning and test documentation to ensure a smooth handover.

About You

  • You hold a trade or engineering qualification in electrical, industrial electronics, controls, or a similar field.
  • You have prior experience with electrical diagnostics, fault-finding, modifications, and the installation and commissioning of complete mechanical and electrical systems.
  • You have a sound knowledge of generators, controls, instrumentation, switchgear, and auxiliary systems.
  • A background in Power Generation, Energy Storage, or Datacentre applications is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
  • You are able to work independently but also enjoy working in a team.
  • You possess effective communication and teamwork skills and actively promote Penske's values and purpose.
