Mackay Aquatic Recreation Complex Lifeguard

The Mackay Aquatic Recreation Complex is seeking enthusiastic and reliable lifeguards to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the safety of patrons in a pool environment.
Key responsibilities include maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment, communicating effectively with diverse groups of people, and working as part of a team to achieve common goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Understanding of OHS and public safety applications
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current First Aid (Level 2)
- Current CPR Certificate
- Blue Card - QLD Working with Children Check & National Police check
- Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Current Pool Operations Certificate(not essential but highly regarded)
