We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team in the Southern NSW Local Health District. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering quality dietetic services to patients and clients across the region.
- Provide expert dietetic advice and support to patients and clients to meet their health and wellbeing needs.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practice and research in nutrition and dietetics, and implement innovative solutions to improve patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, clients, and colleagues to promote positive outcomes and enhance service delivery.
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized plans to meet patient and client needs.
- Provide education and support on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics to patients and clients.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and achieve improved health outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and drive innovation in healthcare.
- Tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia (DA).
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practice and research in nutrition and dietetics.
- Current unrestricted driver's license and ability to maintain it, with flexibility to travel within the region as required.
