About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at Kmart. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Collaborate with other department managers and store leadership to achieve business objectives and improve store performance
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a big-box or high-volume retail environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a positive shopping experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
